Investment approach

At Interogo Long-Term Equity, we focus on long-term, significant minority investments in profitable, high-quality businesses headquartered in Western Europe. Our portfolio includes both public and private companies, each selected for their strong market positions and promising potential for sustained future performance. We aim to build a concentrated portfolio of high conviction investments, operating in markets with favorable long-term outlooks, driven by fundamental, lasting trends.

We are sector agnostic, but mainly focus on business services, healthcare, industrials and software & technology. Our approach combines a concentrated, high-conviction strategy with a long-term investment horizon. Although minority ownership, we actively engage with our portfolio companies and other stakeholders, to drive value creation over time. In some investments we hold board or observer seats.

What we look for

Industry characteristics: Sectors benefiting from structural growth trends, strong value-chain positions, and limited disruption risk

Company quality: Leading market position, proven track record, healthy margins, and strong cash flow generation

Sustainability & growth: Businesses with sustainable competitive advantages, solid underlying profitability, and clear potential for long-term value creation

Our investment mandate

  • Long-term horizon: We pursue a concentrated, high-conviction portfolio without a predetermined exit horizon, allowing flexibility to support long-term growth
  • Geographical focus: Western European headquartered companies with global growth potential
  • Public & Private: We focus on both public and private markets, aiming for a balanced mix of listed and non-listed holdings over time
  • Significant minority stakes: We aim to be one of the largest shareholders but not the lead investor
  • Active ownership: We are committed, engaged owners with the willingness to take board seats and/or participate in nomination committees, tailoring governance rights to each unique situation

Our philosophy

Our investment philosophy is theme and sector driven, combining an active ownership model with a systematic approach to value creation.

We focus exclusively on direct equity investments, and target companies with a market capitalization or total equity value typically above EUR 1.5 billion.

We avoid venture capital, early-stage, and growth equity investments, instead focusing on established businesses co-owned with experienced, reputable partners who share our responsible ownership mindset.
